NFL Week 15 results: Broncos and Rams secure playoff positions

The NFL playoffs picture became clearer during Week 15.

The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams secured victories in their games, allowing them to continue competing into late January. The Broncos managed to edge out the Green Bay Packers, while the Rams faced off against the Detroit Lions.

On a more somber note, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs discovered that they would be missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Additionally, Mahomes is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL.

This situation adds another layer of difficulty for the Chiefs.

In other noteworthy games, the Buffalo Bills triumphed over the New England Patriots, keeping their hopes alive for the AFC East title. The Baltimore Ravens also secured a win, maintaining their lead over the Cincinnati Bengals and closing in on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Great performances were also noted from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Los Angeles Chargers.

The Philadelphia Eagles finally broke their losing streak by winning against the Las Vegas Raiders. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears appeared to have an easy matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The Seattle Seahawks, however, struggled, falling to the Rams despite Philip Rivers’ return.
