Colts vs. Cardinals

It’s surprising, really. I never imagined I’d be banking on Daniel Jones to score a touchdown.

But here we are, placing Jones and the Colts against a struggling Cardinals squad. The situation got a bit heated when coach Jonathan Gannon was fined $100,000 for his behavior on the sidelines after running back Emari DeMercado dropped the ball right before what could have been the game-winning touchdown against the Titans.

On top of that, there are ongoing worries about Kyler Murray’s fitness. Honestly, he hasn’t been looking too great lately.

Meanwhile, Jones, alongside running back Jonathan Taylor, propels an offense that’s putting up an impressive 34 points per game at home and has yet to lose this season.

The Colts consistently score at least 20 points, and their defense looks solid as well.

It feels right to back a team that’s performing at such a high level against one of the league’s weaker opponents, a team that couldn’t even hold a 15-point lead. It’s almost like they deserve to be voted off the island, if you catch my drift.

Broncos vs. Jets

As Week 6 approaches, it’s hard to see how the Jets will keep this matchup close against such a formidable defense that concedes the fifth-fewest total yards and rushing yards.

We know the Jets lean heavily on the run, which isn’t exactly encouraging given that this defense already held Saquon Barkley to just 30 rushing yards and the Eagles to a mere 45 total rushing yards.

Patrick Surtain II is likely to limit Garrett Wilson’s potential to make a significant impact, which puts added pressure on rookie tight end Mason Taylor to step up. That’s no small task.

On the flip side, the Jets’ defense has really struggled to contain their opponents. The Broncos’ offense may be hit or miss, but it seems like they could exploit any weaknesses the Jets have.

This game has the potential to be quite explosive.
