Philadelphia – Nets Center Nic Claxton's put-back layup beat the buzzer to beat the 76ers, 105-103 on Saturday night.
Claxton deposited Keon, who Johnson missed the three pointer. This is an acrobatic shot that beats the clock before being attacked by Ziaire Williams, Trendon Watford and other nets.
What many of their fans call Pyrrhic was a future victory.
Tanking Net (21-35) had a flat bond with the Six for the 6th best odds in the lottery. Now they're falling seventh, ¹/2 game ahead of Chicago and ahead of the bottom.
Cam Johnson scored team high 23 points, while Claxton added 16 points, nine rebounds and five blocks.
The net had been led by 17 people, but only trailed with 1:48 left.
Philadelphia started the big three with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George for the 15th time. However, the net survived Tyree Maxie's 31 and defeated the victory despite not having Dangelo Russell or Cam Thomas.
The net hit the first eight shots from the floor, and Johnson's three free throws soaked into a 23-15 lead.
Embiid looked like he stepped in, and as Six played drop coverage and did it passively, the net got whatever they wanted.
And they made them.
The net led 40-30 after the first quarter, reaching 15 out of the 20, the best filming quarter of the season.
The team, which struggled violently in the offense, recently took a 60-43 lead as boos and bill rained at Wells Fargo Center.
Embiid appeared to prefer knees on multiple occasions. The net was running the offensive set perfectly and went in freely.
Owning a 63-52 edge in the half, the net went up to 71-54 when Claxton took advantage of Emvid, who apparently stepped in for a layup.
The net recognized a 14-4 run and saw the Embiid jumper third remaining within Embiid jumper's 75-68.
The fourth quarter began with Embiid on the bench with a lap on his leg.
George cut the Nets' lead to five, and Maxey found Kelly Ubble Jr., a dunk that cut 89-86 with 7:19 left.
Claxton lost the ball while trying to dribble between the two defenders, but the defense was retained. And Watford drove one person.
When George scored, it was still a six-point lead.
After Watford's sales, Keon Johnson committed goaltending to Maxey's attempt, where the lead was cut 94-92.
That lead disappeared completely the moment Maxey spotted the Go-Anead 3-pointer Quenting Rimes. The net followed 95-94 at 4:11. Oubre, who follows Dunk from Maxey's Miss, is now 97-94.
The net rethinks lead 102-100 when Watford spotted Keon Johnson with the remaining 3-pointer at 1:49.
Claxton added a free throw with 1:04 left, but Maxey retook it with a 3-pointer. However, Claxton became the winner.
