Nick Cannon Discusses Political Views on “Big Drive”

Nick Cannon is starting to take a firm stance on his political views. During a recent episode of his online talk show, “Big Drive,” he engaged in a straightforward discussion about politics with model Amber Rose and comments on Donald Trump.

Rose expressed a strong opinion, saying, “Democrats don’t care about black people and people of color, but Republicans do. That’s the misconception.” Cannon nodded in agreement, stating, “I agree 100 percent. People really don’t know that the Democratic Party has ties to the KKK, while the Republicans were the party that freed the slaves.” It’s a provocative claim, for sure.

Cannon went on to say, “So, you and I both have conservative viewpoints. You’re just a bit more vocal than I am. I mean, I really don’t support either party. I relate to WEB Du Bois—there’s basically just one evil party with different labels.”

When they turned the conversation towards Trump, Cannon mentioned that, in his view, Trump was fulfilling his promises. He joked, “Now we have the Gulf of America. Trump is like a club and charges a $5 million entrance fee to this country.” He added, “I actually agree with Trump.”

While Cannon has typically been reserved about sharing his political beliefs, Rose has been open about how her support for Trump influenced her career. “I faced rejection during the election period,” she revealed, adding that critics seemed quiet as they witnessed Trump make changes in the country.

Rose made it clear that she wouldn’t shy away from expressing her views at the upcoming 2024 Republican National Convention. “I let go of the fear and judgment about being misunderstood and wearing my red hat,” she told the audience. She indicated that the left has pressured her to dislike Trump and his supporters.

She concluded by saying, “Unfortunately, the ‘woke’ left cancels people with different perspectives. But I don’t care. Regardless of my beliefs, I’ll stand firm until the end. I used to align with the left because I thought it was right, which is why it’s crucial to have open discussions.”

Rose stressed the need to return to reality and have those tough conversations to improve societal understanding. “There’s no objective truth on the left; only feelings matter,” she said, emphasizing that dialogues are essential for progress.
