Nick Cannon may have hoped for a reconciliation with ex-wife Mariah Carey, but he acknowledged it's unlikely to happen.
In an interview with E! News in August, Cannon, 43, who was married to singer Carey, 55, for eight years, told the outlet that he would “absolutely” get back together with Carey.
“You'd be stupid not to,” the host of “The Masked Singer” said. “We should be together.”
However, Cannon admitted in a recent interview with People magazine that her chances of getting together with the “Fantasy” hitmaker have passed.
“Yeah, she doesn't want me,” he said. “She's recovered from my crazy behavior.”

Carey and Cannon began dating in early 2008 and married in April of that year at Carey's Bahamas mansion. They welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011, but separated in 2014 and their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Cannon and the five-time Grammy Award winner have a good relationship and continue to co-parent Moroccan and Monroe amicably.
After his divorce, Cannon fathered 10 more children with five other women.

Comedian and model Brittany Bell has three children, Golden Sagon, 7, Powerful Queen, 3, and Rise Messiah, 6 months, while he has three-year-old twins Zion and Zillion, and one-year-old daughter Beautiful, with radio personality Abby De La Rosa.
Reality TV star Bre Tiesi has a two-year-old son, Legendary Love, with Cannon, while model Laneesha Cole also has a one-year-old son, Onyx Ice, with Cannon.
Cannon's youngest child is 1-year-old Halo Marie, born in November 2022, with model Alyssa Scott. Their child, Zen, is He died at 5 months old. He passed away in 2021 from a brain tumor.
In an interview with People magazine, Cannon said he has strong co-parenting relationships with all of his children's mothers.
“Well, I mean, to their credit, you know what I mean?” he said. “It would be madness to do business with me.”

“At the end of the day, if you put your kids first and put your ego aside, anything is possible,” Cannon added.
The former “America's Got Talent” contestant detailed the “amazing summer” he's had with his kids.
“We hung out in Malibu, we traveled, we went to the beach a lot,” Cannon told People magazine, “so I think all the kids really enjoyed it.”
Cannon said that as she is now preparing to send her children back to school, it has reminded her of some “fun” memories from her childhood.
“It reminds me of when I was a student and I would buy clothes for school and get the kids excited,” he said.

But Cannon noted that some children may be reluctant to return to school after the summer holidays.
“I have a 7-year-old son who is in the fourth grade,” Cannon said of Golden. “He's so smart, even school seems boring to him.”

“It's kind of getting him hooked and excited again because he had so much fun over the summer,” she added. “So I'd like to say, 'You can have just as much fun over term time,' but it just keeps the excitement going.”
Meanwhile, Cannon admitted that becoming a father to teenagers Moroccan and Monroe is “very scary.”
“Teenagers are scary. I still feel like I'm a teenager,” he said. “It's so scary watching my daughter literally turn into a young woman right in front of my eyes.”
