Wimbledon Love Triangle Sparks Rumors
Nick Kyrgios has stirred the pot regarding the rumored “love triangle” at Wimbledon as it appears a famed tennis couple has split for the second time.
All eyes are on Emma Raducanu this week; the 22-year-old Brit is making waves at the All-England Club during her fourth appearance since 2021.
Raducanu, who made history by winning the 2021 US Open as the first qualifier in the Open Era, continues to seek that level of performance.
This year, she seems to be off to a promising start at Wimbledon, having advanced to the third round following a decisive victory over 2023 Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova.
Next up for her is a match against Amanda Anisimova, who recently won her match against Mexico’s Renata Zarazua.
This marks the second time Raducanu and Anisimova are meeting at a Grand Slam this year, with Raducanu having won their earlier clash at the Australian Open.
Kyrgios, while nursing injuries that have kept him from competing at Wimbledon this year, recently joked about the rumored “love triangle” involving Raducanu, Carlos Alcaraz, and Jack Draper.
“I think it’s a triangle of love,” Kyrgios mentioned, adding a touch of humor to the speculation.
He expressed admiration for all three players, hinting that Raducanu’s happiness is the most important aspect.
Raducanu herself seemed lighthearted about the rumors, emphasizing that she’s just good friends with Alcaraz during a recent press conference.
After her second-round victory, Raducanu beamed at the home crowd, showcasing her enthusiasm for playing in front of them.
Meanwhile, Draper has also been performing well, looking for a significant challenge following his strong showing at the All England Club this year.
Power Couple Breakup
In other news, the romantic relationship between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa has reportedly ended once again.
Badosa suffered an early exit in the first round at Wimbledon, while Tsitsipas had to retire from his opening match after a disappointing performance.
According to reports, the couple, who had planned to team up for mixed doubles at the US Open, has parted ways after reconciling briefly.
Having been in a relationship for just over a year since May 2023, they shared many moments on social media but seem to be going their separate paths once more.
Amidst this turmoil, Tsitsipas revealed he may be considering retirement due to ongoing back issues, expressing confusion about his future in tennis.
“I feel like the answer is gone. I tried everything; I’ve worked hard on my fitness and physical therapy,” he stated, reflecting on his struggles.
