Nickelodeon actor taken into custody related to Malibu break-in

Chris O’Neal Arrested in Connection with Robbery

Chris O’Neal, a star from Nickelodeon, was arrested on Monday in Malibu, California, related to a robbery incident.

Known for his role as Kevin Reed on “How to Rock,” he was taken to the Los Angeles County Jail but was released the following afternoon, according to reports.

On Wednesday, it was mentioned that a 31-year-old man was among several individuals detained under suspicion of theft.

The robbery incident was first reported at 5:45 a.m., and the police disclosed that a caller noticed three adults on security footage inside a residence.

It appears the group accessed the home from the back door before tampering with the camera.

O’Neal has not yet responded to inquiries for comment.

Interestingly, he hasn’t updated his social media since November 2025. His Instagram profile focuses on taking action and making music.

O’Neal is also recognized for co-hosting Nickelodeon’s “You Gotta See This” and starred in “How to Rock,” which aired in 2012.

In 2013, he shared the screen with Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande in the film “Swindle.” More recently, he portrayed Daniel Hayward in Netflix’s “Greenhouse Academy” from 2017 to 2020.

His musical endeavors included the release of an EP titled “Just Getting Started” in 2014, and he collaborated with 5th Ward in 2020.
