Nicki Minaj Supports Trump at a Crowded Rally for Mike Rogers in Detroit

On Sunday, rap artist Nicki Minaj made an appearance with President Donald Trump at a rally in Detroit, Michigan. This event was part of Trump’s efforts to rally support for GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers and to counter Democratic opponent Abdul El Sayed, who is Muslim.

Before the rally, Minaj shared a statement with the Washington Examiner, emphasizing the importance of this midterm election. She stated, “This is the most important of our lifetimes. It’s crucial that President Trump has an effective team in Congress during his last two years to continue his transformative programs, like Trump Accounts, which I proudly endorse.”

Minaj has shown significant support for President Trump, prominently featuring in the launch of the Trump Accounts savings initiative aimed at American children.

She has shared the stage with Trump multiple times and, back in January, expressed confidence that she is likely his biggest fan.

Interestingly, she mentioned that the backlash she receives from critics on the left only reinforces her commitment to stand with the president.

“I am likely the president’s number one fan, and that’s not changing,” Minaj declared at the Trump Accounts summit, designed to promote the new $1,000 tax-advantaged investment accounts program.

“What others say doesn’t bother me at all,” the “Super Bass” artist remarked, adding, “In fact, it drives me to support him even more.”

She continued, saying, “This will encourage all of us to stand by him. We won’t let them bully him, and their smear tactics won’t succeed.”

Trump has reciprocated her enthusiasm, once labeling Minaj the “greatest female rapper in history.”

The “Pink Friday” artist also shared video clips of her time aboard Air Force One.

During the rally, she helped energize the audience, with Trump enthusiastically stating, “We love Nicki.”

Meanwhile, Trump has been alerting Michigan voters about the perceived threat posed by El Sayed.

In a recent post on Truth Social, he cautioned that he is heading to Michigan to “fight a Jihadist Member of the Muslim Brotherhood.”
