Nicki Minaj Voices Support for Donald Trump at Michigan Rally

Rapper Nicki Minaj reaffirmed her backing for President Donald Trump during a Republican campaign rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on Sunday. She expressed that she would support him again if he tried for another term in office.

Minaj took the stage at the rally, where Trump was promoting Republican candidates Mike Rogers for Senate and John James for governor. “President Trump, it’s always an honor to stand with you,” she stated. “I will be your supporter forever. If you run again, count on my support once more.”

It’s worth noting that Trump, currently serving his second term, is constitutionally prohibited from seeking a third term due to the 22nd Amendment.

The Grammy-nominated artist has been vocal about her political stance, recently acting as a celebrity judge for the Small Business Administration’s Million Dollar Pitch Competition. She remarked, “Working with this president is an honor. He embodies resilience and has transformed the energy of our nation since his return. He’s given us hope for a brighter future for ourselves and our children.”

Minaj also encouraged the crowd to back Republican contenders as the midterm elections approach, labeling the upcoming votes as a “critical moment for our country.”

In her address, Minaj touched on sensitive topics, expressing concern over children and gender issues. “We don’t want our kids subjected to confusion over sex changes,” she stated. “It’s essential to protect our children from such pressures.”

During her appearance, Trump referred to Minaj as the “queen of rap,” joking about being overshadowed, saying he was “angry” about it. His playful quip generated laughter, with the crowd responding enthusiastically to Minaj.

After her speech, Trump lauded her again, stating, “You can see why everyone adores Nicki. She truly gets it.” Minaj’s involvement in the campaign comes after she urged young Americans to engage in the midterms, encouraging them to “vote red now.”

In a light-hearted moment, Trump tweeted humorously about Minaj possibly being the next White House press secretary, clearly enjoying the spotlight she brought to the event.
