Nicole Kidman’s rigorous butt workout described by her costar as ‘epic’ and ‘awful’

Nicole Kidman seems to feel the heat and loves to share it.

Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight ShowOn Monday, Kidman’s “A Family Affair” co-star Joey King spoke about what he learned working with the Oscar-winning actress in the Netflix film, which also stars Hollywood A-lister Zac Efron.

“They’re both so sexy,” she told Fallon about the actors, who are 57 and 36, respectively. “They’re two of the fittest people I’ve ever met, so I was inspired by them, so I became a bit of a gym fanatic on set.”

“[Nicole] “He gave me the most epic, baddest-ass workout I’ve ever taken in my life,” she said. “I thought, ‘I’m young, I can hang… I’m agile.’ I thought I could hang, but I couldn’t hang,” King, 24, admitted.

“They had all these exercises – donkey kicks, rainbows, fire hydrants,” she said, naming some of the more popular ones, “but you have to keep your feet in the air for 12 years. It’s really hard.”

King said he’s incorporated the rigorous routine into his own training since filming because “it’s the most effective way to do it,” and that he often emails photos to Kidman and jokes that she should “call an ambulance.”

In an interview Los Angeles TimesKidman previously explained why a mix of exercises is ideal for staying healthy.

“If I was going to get up and run five miles every morning for the rest of my life, I’d get bored of it after a week and hit the snooze button, so I try to mix it up with sports, running, yoga, and even going for walks with my husband and kids. Living in Nashville makes this easier because just being outside feels good,” she explained. “I also love spinning, and I try to encourage everyone to spinning.”
