British politician Nigel Farage has announced that he will stand for parliamentary elections and lead the Reform UK Party.
“Britain has been failed by two parties conspiring to accelerate its decline. There is not a shred of paper between Labour and the Conservatives in this election,” Mr Farage said in the post. Telegraph“Both are trapped in a deadly reliance on mass immigration and have no plan to get the country out of its dire economic predicament. And frankly, neither of them believes in that plan. I believe in this country and I am prepared to fight for it. That is why I have announced that I will lead Reform UK for the next five years and stand for the Clacton Parliamentary election,” he declared.
“I can’t let those guys down.”
“The Reform Party’s policy towards the country is based on the belief that the purpose of power is to best serve the British people. While Labour and the Conservatives support mass immigration, Reform will freeze non-essential immigration, reverse years of wage stagnation and rescue Britain’s public services from unlimited demand strain,” he argued. “While the London establishment supports high tax rates and big spending on pet projects, Reform understands that British taxpayers know best how to spend their money.”
in video “Let’s make Britain great again,” Farage said in a video posted to X.
Farage’s announcement marks a reversal of policy less than two weeks after he announced he would not stand in the next general election.
“I have thought long and hard about whether I should run in the upcoming general election,” he said in a statement last month. “I intend to assist in the campaign in any way I can, but now is not the time to do anything more.”
Farage said, remarks On Monday, he said he changed his mind because he didn’t want to disappoint people.
“I cannot disappoint the millions of people who would be disappointed in me if I don’t take the lead and lead this charge,” he said, explaining his reason for changing his mind. “I cannot disappoint those people. I will not disappoint those people.”
