Nikki Bella Joins Madame Paleta Tequila

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella was recently named the investor and chief margarita officer for Madame Paleta Tequila, adding a notable venture to her portfolio.

Better known as Stephanie Garcia-Cores, Bella expressed that her investment choices align with her personal values and essence. In her view, Madame Paleta seems to be the perfect match for her in the spirits industry.

“Honestly, the title I cherish most is being involved with tequila. So, not only am I representing Madame Paleta, but I’m also investing in it. I’ve long wanted to enter the tequila market. Although I’m often labeled a wine enthusiast, folks recognize my love for skinny, spicy margaritas. This makes my role incredibly meaningful. I’m thrilled to discover a brand that resonates with me. I aim to build my platform as an entrepreneur, tapping into my genuine connection with my fans. I only promote what I truly believe in,” she shared. “I have turned down offers from many companies because they didn’t match my lifestyle.”

“When I found Madame Paleta, the importance of consuming 100% blue agave stood out to me, especially now that I’m older. Getting hangovers is much easier in our 40s! So, I want to be mindful of what I drink. It needs to be clean, especially since I tend to enjoy multiple drinks. I genuinely love this company. It’s female-led and connects me to my Mexican heritage. With family in Mexico, it’s something meaningful for me,” she said. She feels passionately about women’s empowerment and recognized this opportunity as a chance to make a positive impact. After tasting the tequila, she thought, “This is great”—a crucial factor when considering an investment, of course.

Bella highlighted that her brand is built on genuine connections and the authenticity she fosters with her audience. She looks for companies that align with her values.

As she ventured into entrepreneurship, her goal was clear: to engage with brands that reflect her moral compass. “My journey has been self-made, starting with WWE. Authenticity really matters to me, and it’s the foundation for my brand. My sister Brie and I have poured our hearts into this, which is why we’ve reached where we are today. We value honesty because—after all—our fans can sense it,” she explained. “We tend to avoid big brand deals if we don’t believe in their ethos. I truly think that bringing one’s personal values into business leads to becoming a successful entrepreneur, which has helped us cultivate a large following both domestically and globally.”

Bella feels strong support from her fans, noting, “Whatever I put out there, they trust me because I’ve never misled them.” She acknowledges the weight of partnering with brands. A misstep could jeopardize all her hard work over the years. “It’s crucial to understand the company you’re involved with,” she adds. The trust she has in Madame Paleta was a turning point, given their honesty and solid employee culture.

Madame Paleta has distinguished itself in the market, being the first flavored tequila to be recognized as “Best in Class” at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Bella emphasized that enjoying tequila is often about creating good moments with friends. “For me, tequila brings about a sense of celebration. Whether it’s gatherings with friends, sunny days by the pool, or festival vibes, it’s just fun,” she remarked. Her journey into tequila started as a way to find a lighter option compared to wine, which, she noted, often leads to a rough morning after. With clean tequila, she feels reassured she can enjoy her drinks without the same hangover worries.

“Tequila, in my opinion, is a better choice. Just ditch the energy drinks and go for something that can uplift you. Our tequila is perfect for a quick pour over ice when getting ready for a night out. I’m not one for shots, really. Initially, I just wanted to taste it, but honestly, it’s quite enjoyable,” she concluded. This might just be the start of a new chapter for Bella in the spirits industry.
