Following her hilarious appearance on Netflix’s “Roast of Tom Brady,” Nikki Glaser made headlines again with a steamy appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards, where she took aim at Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Mahomes and Connor McDavid as a presenter for Best Male Athlete.
Glaser, 40, was not shy about criticizing Scheffler’s arrest outside Valhalla Golf Club during the PGA Championship in May.
“We have some of our candidates who are elite athletes and golfers who push their bodies to the limits,” Glaser began. “Sorry, Scotty. I know golf is hard. I know putting and chipping and driving over cops’ legs.”
The punchline drew roaring laughter from the audience at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
But Glazer quickly turned his attention to the Oilers’ loss to the Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final, joking that losing to a Florida team must have been painful for McDavid.
“Right now, Connor has the Stanley Cup. [McDavid] “All he’ll have is whatever his wife asks him to get from the cabinet,” she joked.
Glazer received universal praise for her appearance on the Brady Roast, and she alluded to that when she took to the ESPYs stage, saying people would probably recognize her from “the Roast of Gisele.” [Bündchen] husband.”
The comedian joked that he’s been an NFL fan since “the first time I saw Taylor Swift watching a football game,” mocking the many new football fans who started watching the game after the pop icon began dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Learning who Patrick Mahomes is has really changed my life,” Glaser said. “I only knew him as that guy in the State Farm ads and just assumed he was the CEO’s son because of the way he acted.”
Mahomes ended up winning the award, but Chiefs coach Andy Reid accepted it on his behalf.
