Nikki Haley and Dean Phillips both drop presidential bids

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley announced on Wednesday that she is withdrawing from the race for the Republican presidential nomination following her landslide defeat to former President Donald Trump on Super Tuesday.

Haley is among the 15 states where the Republican presidential nomination will be contested on Tuesday. won Up until that point, her only winning presidential campaign was the Republican presidential primary in Washington, D.C.
