Rep. Haley (RSC) said Trump asked her to speak at the Milwaukee event in the name of “unity.”

“Let me start by making one thing clear: I am a strong supporter of Donald Trump,” Haley said. “For the good of our country, we have no choice but to support Donald Trump.”

Haley had already declared in May that she would support Trump in the 2024 election, and she reiterated that in her speech at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, making clear that she bore no grudge over losing out on the GOP nomination.

During her speech, she also told supporters who might still be undecided about who to vote for: “You don’t have to agree with me 100% of the time to vote for Trump. Trust me when I say that.”

As Haley spoke, the camera panned to Trump, showing him standing and applauding as she reiterated her support.

Meanwhile, former presidential candidates Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) and Vivek Ramaswami also spoke at the Republican National Convention, declaring their full support for Trump’s candidacy.
