Every game, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic gives us something to remind the world that he is the best basketball player alive.Nuggets won 113-100. new york knicks On Thursday, Jokic made two great plays that served as reminders that he may not actually be from Earth.
First, what is this path?
Jokic sees a double team coming, turns his back to commit Josh Hart for a double, and then, with his back turned, simply drives a pass into the hands of Aaron Gordon. That’s the magic of basketball, dude. Why didn’t that pass miss the backboard? How do you defend that? That’s completely ridiculous.
But this shot might be even wilder than the pass. Because what on earth is this?
I mean…what do we do with this? It’s out of this world, so you’ll have to tip your cap and keep playing. A touch to allow this to come off the backboard…somehow from behind the backboard? If Jokic tried this in Victorian England, he would be considered a wizard.
I mean, he plays for the Nuggets, and now he’s like a magician with the ball.
