Nikola Jokic threw one of his best passes yet with full court dime for corner 3-pointer

At some point, simply calling Stephen Curry “the greatest shooter of all time” became too much of an understatement. Because it could not capture the whole picture of his brilliance. The same goes for him labeling Nikola Jokic “the greatest passing big man of all time” and stopping there. He was too accomplished and too dominant to talk *only* about his own death and comparisons with other centers. In fact, he’s one of the best passers in league history and more than that.

The present and future of the NBA was revealed Tuesday night when the Denver Nuggets took on the NBA. san antonio spurs. Jokic is the best player in the world at the moment. Victor Wenbanyama seems destined to win that title eventually. So far, we haven’t come close.

The Nuggets defeated the Spurs 110-105 thanks to a great performance from Jokic. Denver’s star big man contributed to the victory with 42 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists. He also threw one of the best passes you’ve ever seen.

In the third quarter, Jokic threw a full-court pass that teammate Justin Holiday hit perfectly into the opposite corner. Holiday swung his shot and made his only 3-pointer of the night. Watch the clip here:

We’ve seen Jokic throw great passes so many times before that it’s hard for him to wow us with great passes at this point, but this one is special. It’s exactly the 94-foot Dart Holiday wanted, and exactly what he could afford. Would another player be alive to throw that pass and complete it? I don’t feel like that. This is a true Jokic special.

The fact that Jokic did everything in his power to beat the Spurs rookie is perhaps the best evidence of how volatile Wembaneyama is. Jokic was at the peak of his powers and geared up to challenge for back-to-back championships, and Wemby pushed him to do his best to win games late in the regular season.

I can’t wait to watch these two play again next year. But this is Jokic’s season.
