NJ dad accused of 6-year-old son’s treadmill death dodges murder charge, is found guilty of manslaughter

A New Jersey father accused of killing his 6-year-old son by running him at high speed on a treadmill was found guilty of manslaughter on Friday, avoiding a murder charge in the shocking 2021 case.

Christopher Greger, 31, was also convicted of endangering the welfare of a child for an incident captured on surveillance video in which Greger was seen increasing the speed of the treadmill on which Corey Micciolo was running, causing the boy to fall multiple times.

Gregor faces 10 to 30 years in prison for the lesser charge. He is due to be sentenced on August 2nd.

The treadmill incident happened just a week before Corey died in hospital after suffering a seizure. Court TV
