The New Jersey hospital system requires newborn parents to specify the “sexual orientation” of their infants in surveys mandated by state law.
The Inspira Health document, entitled “Sexual orientation and gender identity survey,” has several disturbing sections. New York Post It has been reported Saturday.
The form asks parents to identify the baby as “male.” Women; tackle another option called “transgender” or “gender care” and “additional gender categories/self-explanation”.

Yesterday, we noted that healthcare providers, labs and hospitals were forced to provide the following survey to newborns: While completely extremely insane, these facilities do so in order to comply with another meaningless law A-4385 passed by a democratically controlled parliament in 2022. The law requires unaged collection of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity data. I will immediately sponsor the law to rescind this absurd requirement that is a waste of time and resources for medical professionals.
PS – For those who scream “fake forms,” my Legislative Bureau directly confirmed this morning's Health Network to be true. They had to seek exemptions from the state to discontinue using this form as they received such negative feedback from their patients. You may not want to believe it is real, but that's true, and at least you now understand, deep down, how absurd things have become in New Jersey.

A representative from Inspira Health told the newspaper that the survey was “necessary under New Jersey law,” but parents could refuse to fill it up.
In 2023, a UK healthcare centre asked parents if they thought their newborns were transgender or non-binary, and asked a survey at the time.
