Incident Involving Brian Littrell on Florida Beach
Brian Littrell found himself in a confrontation on a Florida beach that escalated to a call to 911. Video footage has surfaced showing Littrell challenging another beachgoer amid allegations of an assault.
According to Littrell’s lawyer, on March 22, a man set up a beach chair on Littrell’s property and refused to leave, prompting the pop star to confront him. The situation reportedly turned violent when the individual allegedly punched Littrell in the face, which led him to call 911.
Body camera footage reveals Littrell explaining to officers, “I’m videotaping him. He’s sitting on my property. I haven’t said anything to him. I was this far away and he swiped at me and knocked my phone out of my hand. That’s when I called 911. Guys, I don’t want an argument, I don’t want any beef. I just want to enjoy the beach.”
Littrell also recorded the exchange, capturing a moment where he approached the man sitting on the beach. The man appeared taken aback, pushing Littrell’s phone away and then apologizing, saying, “I’m sorry, but you can’t throw that in my face, bro.” The tension escalated with the man claiming he was lucky not to have retaliated with violence.
Despite the confrontation, Walton County Chief Assistant State’s Attorney Josh Mitchell ultimately decided not to pursue charges against the beachgoer, citing a lack of criminal intent based on the available video evidence.
Earlier reports had suggested that Littrell used a homophobic slur during the incident. However, his attorney firmly denied this claim, stating, “The allegation is false. The full video of the encounter clearly shows that no such words were used.” The statement further elaborated that Littrell and his family had invested in what they believed was their dream home, only to face ongoing harassment over the property rights in their area.
Littrell’s attorney expressed concern about the escalation of conflict and criticized local law enforcement for inadequate enforcement of property rights, asserting that the singer deserves safety and privacy in his home.
Recently, Littrell has revealed receiving alarming threats directed at his family, including talk about burning down their home and physical violence. He noted, “They’re trying to spray us with mace. They want to knock my teeth out; it’s just crazy.” Littrell stressed that they are simply people wanting to enjoy their home and protect their rights.
