No 'Client List,' but Jail Staff Might Have Helped with Suicide

Insights on Jeffrey Epstein from Alan Delschitz

Alan Delschitz, a lawyer and legal expert who previously represented Jeffrey Epstein, claims that Epstein did not keep a “client list” or serve international intelligence agencies, suggesting instead that he may have contributed to his own demise.

In a recent op-ed for Wall Street Journal, Delschitz comments that Epstein’s alleged “client list” is misleading. While the FBI has interviewed several individuals identified as “clients,” the names have been sealed by court order. He asserts that he knows who these individuals are, though they include no current public figures. Delschitz expresses uncertainty about the truth of these allegations, noting the court’s decision to protect the identities of certain accusers. He believes that the media could seek disclosure of these names to allow for public understanding.

Regarding Epstein’s death, Delschitz states that evidence strongly suggests suicide, but raises questions about potential assistance from prison staff, referencing issues like malfunctioning cameras and the behavior of his cellmate during that time.

He firmly states that Epstein never worked with any intelligence agency, a claim supported by his contacts in Israel. He indicates that any suggestions of such a connection with Israeli intelligence could stem from a narrative linked to Robert Maxwell, the father of Epstein’s former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Last week, Delschitz indicated he was aware of individuals on files related to Epstein’s case but is constrained by confidentiality rules that prevent him from disclosing their names. This has led to speculation about a “client list,” but his op-ed clarifies that he is referencing accused perpetrators and victims instead.

Additionally, Delschitz remarked that former President Donald Trump had no “inappropriate or suspicious” dealings regarding Epstein, highlighting that Trump had barred Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
