‘No Question’ CCP Has Been Grooming Tim Walz

This week on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Breitbart News senior contributor andBlood Money: Why the Powers That Be Turn a Blind Eye When China Kills AmericansMinnesota Governor Tim Walz (D-Minn.), a 2024 Democratic vice presidential candidate, said he was groomed by the Chinese Communist Party.

Moderator Maria Bartiromo asked, “What was your reaction to what we heard from Tim Waltz? He praised Chinese Communism as a system where we’re all the same and we all share. Do you think the Communist Party has nurtured Tim Waltz?”

Schweitzer said, “Yes, Maria, I think there’s no doubt about that. It goes back to the exchange programs that he ran, bringing hundreds of students from the United States to China. In early reports, Tim Waltz described it as unique, unusual, something that no one else was doing. And at the same time that he was bringing the students, according to the students, Tim Waltz was saying that in China, no one is poor because everybody shares, as if this coercive sect of the Chinese Communist Party is voluntary. Sharing is voluntary. What a ridiculous statement. He also made other comments where he told students going to China to tone down their Americanness. One student said that when he was in China, he brought back a load of Mao’s Little Red Book. This was a long-standing relationship that continued when he joined Congress and took action in Congress.”

He added: “He visited China in 2016 with a few other Democrats. He talked about meeting with Chinese officials and he said, oh, I was in China, I was in China in December 1989, and they said no, it was February 1990. So they had been tracking him since he was a young man, but his meeting with Premier Li is a classic example of elite capture, what the Chinese call ‘a little bit of abuse, a lot of help.’ Tim Walz has spoken about China’s human rights situation, but never in the context of doing anything about it. During his meeting with Premier Li, he told Premier Li: ‘Don’t do this using the United States as an example, because we don’t know how to do it right either.’ That’s the explanation for what he said to Premier Li. So this is exactly what China wants from the US elites, this massive moral equivalence. ‘Talk about human rights, but don’t do anything. And then also create a moral equivalence that the Chinese system is not worse than ours. And that’s exactly what Tim Walz has been doing for years.”
