It looks like Taylor Swift won't be making a Christmas Day cameo this year.
The 35-year-old pop superstar appeared to be absent from the Chiefs' holiday game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, just days after rooting for Kansas City's 27-19 home victory over the Texans on Saturday.
Swift, who has been dating Kelce since the summer of 2023, attended Arrowhead Stadium last Christmas to cheer on the Chiefs, who lost 20-14 to the division rival Raiders.
The Chiefs entered Wednesday's game with a 14-1 record and were gunning for the top seed in the AFC playoff race.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for 260 yards and a touchdown against Houston amid speculation about his condition on game day after injuring his ankle on Dec. 15 against the Browns.
Kelce, 35, had five receptions for 30 yards in Saturday's Week 16 win.
The star tight end has 89 receptions, 739 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games this season, his 12th in the league.
The Chiefs conclude the regular season on January 5th with a trip to Denver.
After that, their quest for a third straight Super Bowl title intensified.
Kansas City has defeated Philadelphia and San Francisco in back-to-back games, the latter ahead of Swift.
The “Fortnite” singer greeted Kelce on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas shortly after the Chiefs' 25-22 overtime victory over the 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl.
Swift is enjoying a well-deserved break after wrapping up her blockbuster Elas tour earlier this month.
Kelce surprised Swift. A grand Eras themed party was held to commemorate the end of the nearly two year tour.
