Noah Schnacky Shares How ‘God Made It Possible’ for Him to Step Away from Country Music

Noah Schnucky’s Transformation from Country Pop to Christian Music

Noah Schnucky, a former country pop music star, has shared that he turned away from his successful career after feeling a profound spiritual calling. He garnered significant attention as a country pop artist, with hits like “Hello, Beautiful” and “Maybe We Will,” which together attracted over 7 million views on TikTok. In 2018, his work even earned him a nomination for the Teen Choice Awards.

However, Schnucky feels that God guided him to pursue a different path. Now, he is part of Jwalkrs Worship, a music collective that includes his sister, Ally, and a close-knit team dedicated to their shared passion for Christ.

“It was a calling. I felt like I was supposed to do that,” Schnucky explained in a conversation with a media outlet about his transition from country pop to Christian music. “So we found a way to convince our label that we needed to buy our way out of our deal. They didn’t believe us. And God offered us the opportunity to do it, and it was a miracle.”

By 2023, Jwalkrs had already established itself as a worship community. An inspiring personal story tied to Noah’s grandfather, who recovered from paralysis, motivated the group’s song “Silence,” which has captured 12 million streams on Spotify.

Notably, the group has received nominations for two K-Love Fan Awards this year, emphasizing their commitment to their mission.

“It’s clear that God is inspiring this, and we’re just saying we should do it. So we’re just continuing our path,” Schnucky said.

Ally Schnackie, Noah’s sister, emphasized that their aim is to spread God’s love.

“The message that speaks heavily to my heart and to the entire group is that God is so much more real than you can imagine. If we can open up and begin to understand that he is involved in all the details, nothing this world has to offer can compare,” Ally noted in her comments.

In personal news, Noah is also celebrating his engagement to Christine Marino, a milestone he refers to as a significant highlight of his life.

“Good things come to those who are patient,” he remarked when discussing their relationship after dating for a few years. “She’s the love of my life. There’s no one like her, and I feel very peaceful during this season. I did it the right way and was patient with that.”
