The suspect who plowed his car into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans has died, the FBI announced hours after the Wednesday morning attack.
New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell said 10 people were killed and about 30 injured in the attack early in the new year.
“This morning, an individual drove his car into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing numerous people and injuring dozens more,” the FBI said in a statement. said In a statement. “The subject subsequently engaged local law enforcement and is now deceased.”
