A deer caused quite a scene at a laundromat in North Carolina on Tuesday, barging through the front window and taking off through the establishment, much to the surprise of customers.
This energetic buck was first seen on video racing across the street towards Wishy Washy Laundry in Winston-Salem. In a dramatic moment, it jumped over a car and tackled a woman, knocking her down.
After that, the overly excited deer crashed through the front windows of the laundromat and started running around inside.
“You can’t be prepared for what happened at Wishy Washy today,” the business shared, along with wild clips from both inside and outside the shop.
People rushed for cover, with one man even leaping onto a table as the deer dashed past him, colliding with several laundry carts.
The deer continued its chaotic adventure by bouncing over a couch and exploring the back of the laundromat before jumping on some laundry machines.
Eventually, the spirited buck hopped back through the front windows, exiting the way it came and bolted down the street, disappearing from view.
“Just to clarify, this is 100% real. No AI involved. A deer actually crashed through our laundromat today,” Wishy Washy Laundry stated in their post.
Corey Pendergrass, the owner, said an employee called right away to report the bizarre occurrence.
No one inside the laundromat was hurt, according to Pendergrass, but the woman who was hit in the parking lot left before the staff had a chance to check on her.
The damaged window at the laundromat was fixed later that same day, as reported by a local news station.
