North Dakota will hold its Democratic presidential primary on Saturday.
The Peace Garden State has 13 delegates elected.
President Biden has already received enough votes to win the Democratic nomination through the primary election period. He is also expected to win the North Dakota election, which was held almost entirely by mail-in voting.
The incumbent faces major challenges in the state from author Marianne Williamson and entrepreneur Jason Palmer, who won the American Samoa caucus earlier this month.
Biden had a close race in the 2020 North Dakota Democratic caucuses, winning just 40% of the votes compared to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont)’s 53%. The state is solidly red and voted by wide margins for November’s Republican nominee, former President Trump, in both the 2016 and 2020 general elections.
For in-person voting, voting ends at noon EDT.
