North West’s Zombie-Inspired Transformation
North West has recently undergone a transformation that draws inspiration from the undead. The 13-year-old showcased her striking blue lipstick, adorned with a skull design, and black nail earrings in various video clips posted on her shared TikTok account with her mother, Kim Kardashian, this past Wednesday.
North styled her hair, which she’s been growing since last summer, into waist-length pigtails dyed a vibrant blue.
Her attire featured a Victorian-themed babydoll dress complemented by spiked wristbands, and each of her nails sported a unique, bold design. In one of her TikTok videos, set to a mashup of Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Llif3,” North flaunted her eccentric look while walking confidently towards the camera. When she smiled, her black teeth added to the dramatic effect, and she simply captioned the clip with a zombie emoji.
In another video, she approached the camera singing Eiffel 65’s catchy song “Blue (Da Ba Dee).” She also posted a clip of herself dancing in a zombie costume to Ke$ha’s “Grow a Pear,” which prompted a comment from Ke$ha herself, calling the performance “ICONIC❤️.”
North has consistently showcased her blue hair during public appearances, including a moment last September when she wore it with a light-wash denim jacket and a pleated miniskirt while out in Rome with Kardashian.
The teenager completed her outfit with chunky white high-tops, incorporating Isabel Marant’s hidden heel sneakers, a sparkling Vivienne Westwood orb necklace, and playful ruffled polka-dot socks. Meanwhile, Kardashian opted for a chic all-black look, consisting of a crop top with a low neckline and a high-slit maxi skirt.
In a conversation with Alex Cooper on the “Call Daddy” Podcast, Kardashian discussed North’s evolving fashion sense, noting her daughter’s maturity and confidence in her bold choices. “She’ll say, ‘Mom, I saw this. I don’t care that you don’t like my blue hair or this or that,'” Kardashian shared, highlighting North’s self-assured demeanor.
North is the eldest of Kardashian’s four children with ex-husband Kanye West, which includes her brothers Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7. Following in her father’s artistic footsteps, North made her solo music festival debut last month and released her first EP, titled N0rth4evr.
