Predictions of Extraterrestrial Contact in 2025
A blind Bulgarian oracle, Baba Vanga, who passed away in 1996, made some intriguing predictions for the future. Among her forecasts is a claim that humans will establish contact with extraterrestrial beings by 2025, possibly during significant sporting events.
This year’s notable games—like Wimbledon, the Super Bowl, and the NBA playoffs—have either occurred or are approaching, but we’re still only halfway through the year.
Athos Salome, often dubbed the “living Nostradamus,” mirrors Vanga’s prediction, asserting that this year could see not just bucket-list achievements but also contact with alien life.
According to Salome, who is a 38-year-old self-described paranormal expert and fortune teller from Brazil, advancements in technology and space exploration may eventually lead to a connection with extraterrestrial beings. He believes the James Webb Space Telescope holds a key role in this journey.
“Thanks to the Webb telescope, we might find answers about alien existence,” he says. He also mentions that governments, particularly in the U.S., could reveal previously classified UFO information. If these discoveries hold true, they could greatly change our perspectives on the universe and ourselves.
The James Webb, launched in December 2021, is orbiting the Sun and has already led to significant astronomical findings, such as a discovery related to an exoplanet in June 2025. Yet, there’s still no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life.
Some experts, however, caution against the exaggerated expectations surrounding alien contact. Tony Milligan, a researcher at King’s College London, expresses concern that all the chatter about UFOs and UAPs might overshadow meaningful scientific discussions about the potential for finding microbial life elsewhere.
Milligan notes, “It’s becoming clear that beliefs in alien visits aren’t just harmless speculations anymore; they could have serious consequences.”
Both Vanga and Salome assert that they have accurately predicted significant past events. Vanga, for instance, is credited with foreseeing Princess Diana’s untimely death and the 9/11 attacks, although there’s no verified record of all her prophecies.
As for Salome, he claims to have predicted incidents like Elon Musk’s involvement with Twitter, Queen Elizabeth’s passing, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beyond aliens, Salome also warns of the potential for World War III in 2025 and speculates on the rising power of AI technology. “An advanced system allows various domains to operate together, mimicking human thought,” he elaborates.
“AI can create designs, manage marketing campaigns, and swiftly diagnose illnesses. But when so much power is given to machines, we must ask: what could happen if we lose control?”
