Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Wednesday that he was a major player artificial intelligence Chipmakers will invest hundreds of billions of dollars in their US supply chains over the next four years.

Huang announced in an interview Financial Times. President Donald Trump's administration implements “America First” policies, followed by moves by other tech companies, including Apple, who have announced billions of dollars in investment following Republicans' promises from the US campaign.

“Overall, we plan to raise perhaps a total of $50 trillion worth of electronics over the next four years,” Huang reportedly told FT. “And I think it's easy to see that we're making hundreds of billions here in the US.”

Huang said that increasing US production will be possible through suppliers such as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and Foxconn. China's Howay is increasing the competitive threat, fans told FT, adding that he is confident in the Trump administration's ability to shape policies that speed up the US AI industry.

“It's incredible for American AI to be supported by an administration that cares about the success of this industry and not allow energy to become a hindrance,” he said.

Last month, TSMC CEO CC Wei announced a $100 billion investment in Arizona's state-of-the-art chip manufacturing plant. Trump said the investment would boost between 20,000 and 25,000 jobs and “help US domination in hundreds of billions of dollars of economic activity and artificial intelligence.” Trump has long denounced Taiwan's “monopoly” on AI chips.

Way said the pledge followed the $65 billion that he already committed to investing in US production under former President Joe Biden's administration.

“TSMC investment in the US provides a significant step up to supply chain resilience,” Huang told FT.

US tech companies, including Nvidia and Apple, have relied more and more on TSCM production facilities in Taiwan in recent years.

He outlined Nvidia's next-generation graphics architectures, Blackwell Ultra and Vera Rubin, and predicted the future of the AI industry. Over the past decade, AI has advanced to generative AI through perception and “computer vision,” and now it has advanced to agent AI, which can understand the context of what humans want, Huang said.

“We're generating an answer now. It's fundamentally changed How computing is done? He said. Huang said the “AI scaling method” is being over-accelerated. “The amount of computation required at this point is as a result of inference, and it's easier to do 100 times more than I thought I'd need this time last year,” he said.

Huang also said he expects revenue from Nvidia's data center infrastructure to reach $1 trillion by 2028.
