NY cops wrangle ‘on the lam’ alpaca at car dealership in bizarre roundup

These officers fled.

Westchester County police were forced to force an unusual runaway. This is an alpaca who escaped from a nearby trailer and walked the path towards the streets of the village of Mount Kisco.

“We receive all sorts of interesting 911 calls.” The department said on Instagram. “In fact, it was an alpaca that was on the rum, but still a pretty good early explanation compared to what we got. We found out that the alpacas had escaped from the trailer near the Hotel MTK in Pat Rileyway. We then headed to Kiscore Venue near the Land Rover Dealer.”

The furry four-legged escape was quickly rounded up and reunited with the owner.

“I’m guessing here, but I think there’s a child’s birthday party that goes according to plan,” county police said.

The mayhem began when police at a station house in Mount County, Kisco County, received a call just after 10am on Thursday to try to investigate a strange report.

Police had not said why the cute creature was in town.

Alpacas are indigenous pack animals in the Andes Mountains of South America, and due to their obedient nature, they can sift through zoos and children’s parties.

They are considered not close to llamas, but are different species of the Cameliaceae.

But they don’t usually cruise around the Big Apple suburbs.
