An Amazon delivery driver in the Queens borough of New York took action after a suspected carjacker targeted a female co-worker on Sunday.
Police say the incident occurred when a man, identified as 29-year-old Kevon Wilson, allegedly punched a 23-year-old female Amazon employee who was involved in a traffic accident. New York Post report on friday.

The suspect allegedly punched the young woman multiple times and dragged her out of the van before getting into the driver’s seat, but the woman managed to grab the van’s keys as a male colleague ran to her aid.
Video footage show A man wearing an Amazon vest punches the suspect while a young woman looks on. At one point, she grabs the suspect by the shirt and throws him to the sidewalk. Moments later, the suspect tries to approach her co-worker, but she continues yelling at him.
The two Amazon employees continued arguing with the suspect when he re-entered the van.

During the incident, the young woman suffered pain in her face, arms and neck. Authorities ultimately arrested a suspect in the Amazon van incident on suspicion of robbery and assault, who had several prior arrests and an outstanding arrest warrant for a traffic violation.
Wilson’s bail was set at $7,500 and he is scheduled to appear in court on July 16.
In May, an Amazon delivery driver shot and killed an alleged armed carjacker near Cleveland, Breitbart News reported, noting that the suspect was 17 years old.
A similar incident occurred in Detroit in August when another Amazon delivery driver was threatened at gunpoint and had his car stolen, according to WXYZ.
News footage images show Three suspects wearing black clothing were seen near the Amazon van.
A local resident who witnessed the incident told the media, “It’s really sad, honestly. There’s a lot of crime happening in this area. It’s a shame no one was able to capture it with a Ring camera or anything.”
