NYC carjackers swipe running vehicle with girl in backseat: cops

A 4-year-old girl was left in the back seat of a car that was robbed Friday night while her mother ran errands in Queens, police said.

Police officials said the 31-year-old mother parked her car at a laundromat near 101st Avenue and 113th Street in South Richmond Hill just after 4:30 p.m. and drove off, leaving her 4-year-old child in the back seat. It was left abandoned. .
