A Queens doctor sexually abused a male patient and made offensive comments about his genitals, police and sources say, months after he was arrested and released without bail for fondling another man.
According to a criminal complaint, the alleged perverted doctor, 72-year-old Dr. Amir Sitafarwala, visited Modern MD in Woodhaven on the evening of Aug. 14 when he asked a 21-year-old man to pull down his pants.
A court doctor said Sitafalwala rubbed the victim's inner thighs before groping her genitals.
“You have a beautiful penis,” Dr. Sitafalwala reportedly told the patient. “How big is your penis when erect?”
He then added in a gagging tone, “Your penis is straight, not curved like mine,” the lawsuit alleges.
Police said Sitafalwala was arrested on September 9 and charged with indecent assault and sexual assault.
Sitafalwala was ordered held on $10,000 bail and posted bail, according to prosecutors and online records.
In a similar incident that occurred at the same clinic on Jan. 19, 2023, Sitafalwala allegedly targeted a 25-year-old male patient who had come in for a COVID-19 test, according to the criminal complaint.
According to the lawsuit, the victim was lying on an examination bed when the creepy doctor asked her to undo the belt on her pants.
The doctor then groped the man's genitals and muttered, “Your penis is nice. It's nice length. I wish mine was like yours. Mine isn't that thick,” court documents state.
The doctor then told the young patient to pull down his mask when he sat up straight, then grabbed his face and kissed him, according to the lawsuit.
The doctor was arrested on the charges two months later and released on bail, online records show.
The Queens District Attorney's Office and the New York Police Department's Queens Special Victims Unit are currently investigating whether Sitafalwala may have committed any other crimes.
