Adams' disgrace
It is clear why Mayor Adams continues to globble on President Trump. He wants pardon (“Adams will be traveling another last minute to DC to attend a prayer breakfast where Trump makes a statement,” February 5th).
Latest: He went to Washington to attend Wednesday prayer breakfast with the president, despite not being a member of Congress but mayor of New York.
It is clear that Eric Adams cannot run New York City effectively, and voters should keep that in mind this November.

Mta Madness
The consistently poor record of MTA's subway safety and security has long maintained New Yorkers (“New video shows that NYC subway trains were on NYC subway trains on January 31st shows “).
Agents are touting a collapse in crime statistics, but commuters have yet to see concrete improvements in safety.
In addition to growing hardships, there have been reports that burglars have stole trains from storage trucks for dangerous Joylides. Their boldness and blatant disregard for the law only raises fear among already cautious riders.
The prospect of a bold criminal hijacking a train is a nightmare New Yorkers don't want to face.

Climate disasters
I write in response to my editorial “Facing the reality of “climate” (February 2).
Democrats are barely united to the fossil fuel industry, and not all Republicans are climate deniers. The catastrophic consequences of climate change are clear. Toddlers die from extreme heat, food insecurity and destructive winds in Phoenix. Those who don't feel the effect will feel it immediately.
Still, like Republicans, many Democrats succumb to fossil fuels, but not only enrich hundreds of millions of dollars, there is no wise economic debate about “drills, babies, drills.”
The flood is at our doors and our home is shaking from Down River. They share the same air and water. Stop sowing discord and admit that we are all together.

Noem of the Field
As some critics have argued, how accurate has the presence of Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noem in the recent federal immigration crackdown in NYC's “Bog Down Raids” become? (“Christie raids” January 29th).
Are women serving in the military “stop” the men serving? It is a long and difficult path for women to be accepted in these roles, and many people are comparable and outweighed by many men in their skills and achievements. However, it appears that some still live in the mindset of the past few centuries, when women were considered to have the potential to do household chores, sew and breed.

Trump's instructions
Trump's warning that Iran will be wiped out should everyone be suspended (“Trump is assassinated with a cold warning that he has left instructions”; They claim that they ordered Iran to be “eliminated” (“).
I hope he has realized that some people within the US government may view both sides of the equation as attractive.
He may have inadvertently placed a target on his back, possibly creating a threat from within. I hope that isn't the case, but I am not relieved by the events of this campaign. There are many bad actors outside of Iran – hiding in the shadows. I hope I'm wrong.
