Forrest could be seen writhing in pain as the woman quickly walked away.
According to the cellist, the assault occurred at 5:50 p.m. on February 13 at the 34th St. Herald Square station.

Forrest, a doctoral student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, said it was the second time in less than a year that he had been attacked while performing at a New York City subway station.
“I don’t think I can do this anymore. I’m canceling my Subway performances indefinitely,” he wrote.
