NYC suspects attempt to rob teen with ‘sharp object’ outside Gracie Mansion: NYPD

According to the NYPD, an armed group of men attempted to steal the teenager from the mayor's Gracie Mansion Residence on Saturday night.

The 14-year-old was set up for a group of four men on East 88th Avenue and East End Avenue just after 8pm on Saturday.

These beasts threatened the boy with “sharp objects” and demanded his belongings while surrounding him within Karl Schultz Park, adjacent to the Gracie Mansion Conservancy on the Upper East Side.

The 14-year-old resisted the group's request and called police who arrived shortly after the attempted armed robbery, officers said.

The boy denied seeing a doctor from the first responder on the scene and avoided being taken away and injured.

All four suspects fled the scene through Carl Schultz Park, police said.

Police are currently searching for suspects.
