Residents in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood were shocked after 19-year-old twin sisters were stabbed early Sunday morning, leaving one of them dead.

Relatives at the scene say the stabbing occurred after the suspect tried to attack two young women, but they refused. After a while, the store owner asked the man to leave.
However, the suspect became visibly enraged and began kicking and banging the door. When the twin girls eventually came out of the store, the suspect allegedly stabbed them with a knife.
“Samia was stabbed in the chest and later pronounced dead at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Meanwhile, her sister was stabbed in the arm and was listed in stable condition at the hospital.” post said the report.

The suspect is currently on the run and police continue to investigate the incident.
“The family is devastated. It’s so senseless. A young life has been taken and our community is devastated,” the woman said. Said Pix 11 She is a family friend:
A friend of the young woman who died said: She went to school and worked. She was such a lovely person. She didn’t cause any trouble. All she wanted to do was have fun. She didn’t have to go out like that,” she said, adding that she wasn’t a party girl and was simply enjoying a night out with her loved ones.
Clerk Mohammed Alba Said The twin girls were regular customers.
“They’re very nice people. They come here all the time. I’ve known them as a customer for over 10 years. Take someone else’s life, girl, you’re like 19 years old, right? She is a beautiful girl,” he told CBS New York.
