NYPD Arrests Dozens Of Anti-Israel Protesters In Raucus Clash

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested dozens of anti-Israel demonstrators who clashed with police on Saturday, the New York Post reported.

Clashes between anti-Israel demonstrators and NYPD officers during a demonstration in Bay Ridge this Saturday escalated tensions in Brooklyn, resulting in at least a dozen arrests. An estimated 250 protesters resisted police efforts to move them onto the sidewalk, which escalated into physical confrontations. according to In the New York Post.

Video from the scene showed officers tackling several demonstrators and dragging others away as the crowd resisted and shouted. At one point, protesters were seen throwing water bottles at police. Amid the chaos, police handcuffed a line of demonstrators, including one wearing a Palestinian flag, and loaded them into police vehicles. Friends and supporters shouted words of encouragement from beyond the police line, the New York Post reported. A large police force heavily patrolled the area.

“The NYPD has spent over $400 million on the Palestine protests alone,” demonstrators shouted during the demonstration, according to the New York Post. “They told us to stop. But we will not rest. Until this city is sold. Free Palestine, free.”
