Police shot and killed a suspect who brandished a knife at officers inside a Bronx apartment complex Sunday night, law enforcement officials said.
Officials said the man was shot at least twice after police responded to a call on 148th Street in the Mott Haven neighborhood around 5:45 p.m.
Police say he is expected to survive.

The Bronx shooting occurred two days after a police officer shot and killed a 50-year-old man who allegedly pointed a gun at an NYPD sergeant during a police chase in Brooklyn.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
