Doug Cohen, a spokesman for Mr. Bragg’s office, said no one was injured and the officer was the only person nearby at the time of the shooting. Cohen said there were no students in the immediate vicinity of the area.
Bragg’s office is investigating the incident, Cohen added. Further details about the incident were not immediately available.
