“The NYPD proudly protects the rights of everyone. freedom of speech And a peaceful protest,” Daughtry said in a post before sharing the sign.
One document found on the site explicitly calls for “death to America” and “death to Israeli real estate.”
NYPD Commissioner John Chell confirmed to reporters Friday that the NYPD conducted two operations involving New York University and the New School in New York “at the request of school principals.”

He confirmed that police officers had arrested 56 people, but there were no incidents. The police chief noted that “99%” of those arrested were students.
