A video shot by Fox News Digital shows an NYPD officer telling students that they have been “warned by NYU to leave the area.”

Anyone who does not leave immediately will be arrested for trespassing, the NYPD said.
The university, like other campuses across the country, has been embroiled in protests against Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.

The protests have pitted students against each other, with pro-Palestinian students calling on the school to condemn Israel’s attack on Gaza and divest from companies that sell weapons to Israel.

At New York University, some demonstrators could be heard shouting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a slogan seen by many as a call for genocide. Some stepped on Israeli flags.
