I mean, what are we doing here?

Las Vegas and Sacramento have both been floated as potential temporary homes, but a quick stop in Utah seems more likely. Owner John Fisher appears to have burned all bridges between the area and its fan base, leaving any chance of a temporary renewal in Oakland all but gone.

I think it's a nice city, but what about Utah? It's in the middle of nowhere. At least the move to Sacramento will allow local fans (whoever stays anyway) to attend home games with a relatively short commute.

A temporary move to Utah would be the last metaphorical antics for the Oakland fan base. John Fisher seems to act with complete disdain for Athletics fans, but he'll be lucky if there are anyone left rooting for the Athletics in Las Vegas.
