Obama discusses Biden’s cancer diagnosis news.

Response to Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis

Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, along with Donald Trump, have publicly expressed their concern regarding President Joe Biden’s recent cancer diagnosis.

Obama shared, “Michelle and I are thinking about the entire Biden family. No one has done more to find groundbreaking treatments for cancer than Joe. I believe he will face this challenge with the same determination and grace he is known for.”

Biden previously served as vice president during Obama’s administration from 2009 to 2017.

Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to the bone.

His office announced that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer last week, following a series of urinary symptoms that prompted medical investigation.

According to the statement, he has a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5) indicating serious concern and that the cancer has metastasized.

Trump also weighed in on the situation, stating, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We send our warmest wishes to Jill and the entire Biden family, hoping for a quick and successful recovery.”

Clinton expressed similar sentiments, noting, “My friend Joe Biden has always been a fighter. Hillary and I have been rooting for him and keeping him, Jill, and their family in our thoughts.”

Hillary Clinton added her perspective, saying, “I believe Biden’s battle with cancer has potential to inspire hope for many families affected by this disease.”

Experts indicate that Biden is facing one of the most aggressive types of prostate cancer with bone metastasis.

Biden, who stepped down earlier this year on January 20th, is currently 82 years old.
