Cook's book includes accounts from a variety of sources, including “many of golf's biggest names – Tiger's caddy, coach, his enemies, idols, and more, all providing obstacles on and off courses that threatened his quest for unrelated perfection.
Woods was hoping to compete in next month's Masters Tournament, but recently he had distracted those hopes after undergoing surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon.
“I'm going to go back home now and focus on recovery and rehabilitation,” Woods wrote on social media.
This surgery will bring to an end Woods' 24 consecutive Masters figures.
Woods' difficulties are not limited to golf courses. Last month he announced the death of his 81-year-old mother, Kutilda Woods.
“My mother was a natural force of her own, and her spirit could simply be denied,” Woods wrote in X.
