Odell Beckham Jr. is impressed with the LSU alumnus.
The former Giants star and current Dolphins wide receiver was one of the many who watched the Cowboys win on “Thursday Night Football.”
But for many, this story was the continued blossoming of LSU's newest receiver success story: Giants star Malik Nabors.
The 21-year-old was selected No. 6 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft and finished with 12 catches for 115 yards against the Cowboys.
Beckham posted a post praising Nabers on X, writing, “I know I'm not saying anything, we don't all know, but hmm Malik Nabers.” [face vomiting emoji] …. ”
Nabors is off to a crazy start to his career, with 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns in four games.
He missed Week 4's game against Dallas with a concussion, but the Giants won't return to action until next Sunday against the Seahawks, 10 days between games.
Mr. Nabors said he was “okay,” but this is not proof that this is actually the case.
In many ways, Beckham has followed a similar path to Neighbors 10 years ago, when he became a star after being drafted 12th overall by Big Blue in 2014.
After missing significant time with a hamstring injury, Beckham finished the year with 1,305 receiving yards, 91 catches, and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games (11 starts), winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and 3 He won the first of three times. Back-to-back Pro Bowl bids.
However, Beckham Jr. did not have a happy ending with the Giants and was traded to the Browns in 2019.
He has since moved on to the Rams, Ravens and now the Dolphins, but he looked like a 2022 Super Bowl MVP candidate in the Bengals' win over the Rams before tearing his ACL.
Beckham is on injured reserve but will be eligible to return after Week 4.
