NFL wide receiver Tyreek Hill was arrested for a traffic violation just hours before the Miami Dolphins' first game of the season, and his teammate was also detained during an altercation.

Hill told reporters that he wants to become a police officer when he grows up, and that he hopes to use his position in the future to work with law enforcement and make a positive impact.
The star also expressed concern about what would have happened if he hadn't been a well-known athlete, saying he would not have “come forward” or informed police that he was a football player.
“That's not how I was raised,” he reiterated. “What if I'm not Tyreek Hill? Worst case scenario, because that's crazy. I want to be a cop one day. I've got a state trooper hat on and all that stuff. So I have a ton of respect for cops. But obviously there's bad guys in every situation and everybody.”
The Miami Dolphins will host the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, September 12th at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
