The 2025 Formula One season begins this weekend, with the Australian Grand Prix taking place in Melbourne.
A few hours before the first practice session of the 2025 campaign, the producers released an upcoming official trailer F1 The film stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kelly Condon, Tobias Menzies and Kim Bodonia. The film has been filmed on various Grand Prixes in the past two F1 seasons and stars Pitt as veteran driver Sony Hayes. Hayes is described at a press conference as “the most promising phenomenon of the 1990s up to major accidents,” but he has returned to support mentor Joshua Pierce, played by Idris in the fictional team APXGP.

The film was directed by Joseph Kosinski and was created by the filmmakers. Top Gun: Maverick. F1 It is also partially produced by Lewis Hamilton.
The film was distributed in theaters and in IMAX by Warner Bros. and will debut in North America on June 27, 2025. This is the Austrian Grand Prix weekend this year.
