After spending the 2023 preseason with the New York Jets, HBO’s “Hard Knocks” crew returns to New Jersey for “Hard Knocks: The New York Giants Offseason,” which premieres tonight, July 2nd.
The premiere marks several firsts for the long-running NFL documentary series. After beginning in-season broadcasts during the 2021 season, “Hard Knocks,” which has traditionally been filmed and aired during the preseason, will follow the team during the offseason for the first time. “Hard Knocks: The New York Giants Offseason” also marks the first time the New York Giants will be featured in any version of the show.
The new offseason edition of “Hard Knocks” will follow members of the New York Giants front office, including general manager Joe Sean, as they prepare for the Giants’ monumental 100th NFL season. Filming from January 2024 through July 2024, the series will provide fans with an in-depth look at NFL roster construction, from free agency and the scouting combine to the NFL draft and various minicamps.
